Welcome to 'MEMBERSHIP, and ADVICE AND GUIDANCE SECTION'

MEMBERSHIP i.e. Joining 'Kent Farmers Market Association' and 'EATDRINKKENT'

Kent Farmers Market Association (KFMA) is dedicated to the growth of both Farmers Markets and Producers serving the needs and interests of vendors, managers, customers and all stakeholders in local community markets.

EATDRINKENT has been developed to promote local Producers who do not attend Farmers Markets but are key local Producers in our economy. See Map Section 'Other Producers'

ADVICE AND GUIDANCE

In our Advice and Guidance sections you will find information in the format of toolkits from starting up a market or food business (including subjects from food safety to marketing your market and products) to ideas to help you build your market and business.

Over the years we have bult up our web site to become the 'one stop shop' for Managers, Producers and customers alike. Last year over 80,000 readers viewed our web site. As a member you will have your own web page linking to your own social media sites.

In addition, we have used our joint buying power to persuade suppliers to offer Members discounts and to offer better terms (e.g. insurance).

We also publish our own magazine 'Eat & Drink Kent' which is all about the health , economic and environmental benefits of eating local produce and aimed at both existing and potential customers.

Your membership pounds will be put to immediate use in our community of markets by bringing you in contact with hundreds of professionals from varied walks of life and backgrounds and thousands of people whose love for local, fresh foods is expressed most clearly through their participation in, and support of, local farmers markets.

To become a PRODUCER MEMBER fill out the 'Pending membership' form and email it to Laura our membership Secretary. She will add you to the system and then contact you and set up your pending web site and also explain what else Membership can offer you to help you promote your business and reduce costs

Advice and Guidance is split between Managers and Producers. These sections are divided into:-
