Due to Covid-19, and the lockdown, we have lost some of our traders. As a consequence, we are not longer using the Church hall.
Hythe Farmers' Market was established in March 2004 by popular demand and continues to provide good quality local food to the people of Hythe and its environs.
The market is now located outside the Methodist Church Hall (between Chapel Street and Prospect Road) and is open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays every month from 10am to 1pm. There are stalls selling game, speciality and organic breads, cakes, meat, cheeses, vegetables, fresh pasta, ravioli, sea salt, smoked salmon and lots more.
The Farmers' Market is run by Eric and has stalls selling most food categories. We pride ourselves on offering in-season produce at competitive prices in a friendly environment.
We supply local wild game in season and make our own delicious sausages and burgers

The Sweet Pea Bakery
We are passionate about cakes and all things baked. All our cakes are baked using quality ingredients and free range eggs. We also off gluten free and other 'free-from' cakes.
Valentins was created in 2020 by three friends who have a passion for
quality food! We bake by hand using natural ingredients sourced mainly from local suppliers.

Places To Visit+
The Royal Military Canal, intended to repel invasion during the Napoleonic wars of 1804 to 1815, gives central Hythe its character. It is 10 yards wide, passes into the marsh from the middle of the town. Also built around the same time for defence against Napoleon were the Martello Towers. In total 74 of these towers were built between Folkestone and Seaford.
